GRETEL & HANSEL
Actress Sophia Lillis hasn’t had much luck lately. When she isn’t fighting off Pennywise, she’s dealing with a child-hungry witch. The trailer for this horror offers an ominous look into a beloved fairytale. It’s a movie with a twist, as you can tell by the quirky swap of the names in the title. Everyone knows this story. The witch tries to eat the children which we can all agree, is pretty Grimm. (soz again) But the movie is in good hands as director Oz Perkins is no stranger to horrors. If you’re not a fan of thrillers then you can always watch Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters – a classic.
Release Date: January 31.
I’ll start by saying that I’m obsessed with this cast. Ladybird’s Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet get-together and it’s just as dreamy as it sounds. Judging by the trailer, their on-screen chemistry is going to be uber-sweet to watch. With director Greta Gerwing and a powerful female cast including the likes of Emma Watson and Florence Pugh, this film is a guaranteed hit. A special shout-out to Timothée Chalamet’s wind-blown hair that has us all feeling some type of way. Oh, and Meryl Streep’s in it too.

The buzz for this film was huge until a terrifying trailer left us all feeling slightly unsettled. Myself and the rest of Twitter were truly horrified to see our favourite actors defiled by ‘digital fur technology’.
I don’t think I’ll ever get over the image of cats having human hands.
The soundtrack will be brought to life by acclaimed director Tom Hooper of Les Misérables. It’s definitely cat-nip for musical lovers but after all the backlash it faced online, it could be a cat-astrophe at the box office (soz).
