The Wind Stop has all the usual design traits associated with the Berghaus Air tent range so looks brilliant as well. Currently in Brittany with an Outwell airbeam sat here listening to rain hitting the tent with 45mph winds. Gore Windstopper is a membrane which is bonded inside the jacket and as the name suggests it will stop wind dead in its tracks but it will allow a good level of breathability to stop you from over heating and allow perspiration through the fleece. Good sized living area plus XL version has attached porch, great for putting cooker under or getting out of the breeze.

The arms do however do come with very comfortable elasticated cuffs to stop the wind from getting in and of course the thumb loops of which I'm not really a fan of but I have found myself using with this particular fleece to great effect, I didn't see that one coming !

The Ben Oss Fleece really is exceptionally good and certainly the best fleece I have used, although its a 3 season fleece I will be using it all year round but with my Berghaus Mera Peak Goretex jacket over the top for the colder winter months and leaving my 4 season fleece at home from now on. The airbeam tents on the camping fields stood up pretty well, certainly in comparison with the pole-based dome and tunnel tents -- several of which ended up in the skips on packing up. The Gore Windstopper material sadly doesn't extend to the arms of the jacket and you can defiantly feel a difference from the rest of the jacket.

The Ben Oss Fleece has a draw string around the bottom of it so you can get a snug fit and again keep wind out, There are two outer hand warmer pockets which are mesh lined and can act as ventilation if needed while a single chest pocket is handy for a phone or small map, keys etc. The feel is very much like velour and as crazy as it sounds, it makes you feel good when you wear it, much like someone is giving you a hug as it's so well cut and contoured with its stretch panels and material. Second issue is the metal steak which goes into the ground is only about an inch long so doesn't embed effectively into the ground.
