I hope the author keeps the same writing style for the rest of her career, and I really hope everyone reads this series because it really is something special. I skimmed over big events like they were trivial— not really eliciting the effects they should have. The ending was so good and I am so happy that Phoenix's dad, who was a major dick, got what he deserved. I will definitely read the next book because not only have I read this far into the story but I do really want to know what happens in the end with everyone of the characters. Too bad the first place they stopped at, The Idylls was destroyed because that could have been a good read but they were there two days and then gone.

Do was so sure that she only felt friendship for him in Icons, but now she has all these mushy gushy feelings spewing out of her since he confessed his love for her. Honestly, the way the author wrote her scenes, the progression of the relationships flow nicely, I just wish they did a little more groveling.
