Washed-up Tokyo detective Mikogami Keiji is investigating a series of murders where the victims have been torn apart and drained of all blood. However, one day he was suddenly attacked by a vampire and turned into Moroi, committing a copycat crime of the previous vampire case. If Momo wasn't overly sexualised and drawn with the body of a literal child, this would be more of a 3-star read for me. A few little comedy bits here and there that fit in contextually wouldn't be bad, but it's too much and too at odds with the graphic violence.

I would recommend this series for readers who enjoy edgy, dark, horror-esque stories that incorporate some cool creature designs and some fun action sequences. Mikogami Keiji, a detective who also wants revenge for his lover, killed 10 years ago, pursues the culprit, the “Man with two faces”. I'm interested enough to keep going, especially since kinks tend to get ironed out after the first volume and the story continues to develop.
