Description
When I fired it up, I had a couple of issues with pulsing and the motor running continuously, but I think that this was due to problems with aqua-stop valves in my own set up rate than the Ava. I'm really impressed with this machine, especially at the offer price. It has got great power, a huge range of accessories, a small footprint and is very neat. AVA Evolution has long-lasting metal pumps; 4 and 6 cylinders for durability and performance, a low center of gravity, and our "follow-me" hose reel that fits up to 20 m hose. It is also equipped with a tool tray for easy placement of nozzles.
Whats covered? The warranty covers the cost of parts and labor if for example your pressure washers motor, power transmission, or electrical components fail. You can think of it as coverage over all the things not covered via the service kits, where worn down parts such as valves and seals are replaced.
Meet the Tough Ones
The 40 degree nozzle is one of the ones that Ava recommend for car cleaning and it gave a really strong power that felt at least the equal of my old Karcher K5, despite being a portable machine. The AVA Vario Nozzle is a fan favorite. With the ability to switch between a 20° and a 60° spray with a simple twisting motion, it covers most everyday situations. AVA Smart is a good balance between quality and reasonable price. You get a compact form of a 3-cylinder V3 pump. Enjoy the smart features such as a rollover-proof design, "follow-me" hose reel, short pistol, and practical zoom lance. After years of fighting with Karcher hoses, this was the part I was looking forward to as the biggest upgrade, but I've got mixed feelings so far. The AVA GO was designed to get the most out of a small machine. When you’re short on storage place, don’t want to carry around a heavy machine, or are washing far from your home, the GO is the machine to choose. Get right to it, get cleaning, and get the satisfaction of a job well done.
Cut your work time in half with The AVA 1-2-3 Method. Start with foaming the area you’re cleaning. Then get up close with the extendable zoom lance to maximize the pressure of the water. Finally, choose a wider nozzle to cover as much area as possible to rinse off. This AVA pressure washer will be covered by a 10 year warranty. AVA believe we cannot continue to use and dispose products as we have become accustomed to. Together we can make products last longer. AVA build products that are made to last and quality has influenced their design since day one. If you take care of your washer with regular service, the service life will increase considerably. I'll probably go for a wall mounted reel anyway. Does anyone know if the Ava hoses are as good as the often recommended replacement ones from Qwashers or directhoses? Included within the AVA GO P55 Large bundle is an AVA foam cannon which creates a layer of long-lasting foam that clings to every surface. Featuring an adjustable foam output the AVA foam cannon utilizes a high-quality stainless steel mesh filter to mix detergent, water and air.
While overall water-blasting ability is important for cutting through tough dirt, a concentrated jet from a powerful machine can easily damage bodywork and exterior components of a car. So while we expected a decent punch, a big wattage figure alone wasn’t going to win this test. How we tested them The higher price obviously brings the P55 Go directly into competition with more powerful, full sized PWs. It is night and day better than the Karcher hose, but I still feel like I'm fighting with it all the time. I was hoping that the loops in the hose would just 'fall out' with a pull, but they don't.
Meet the Masters
AVA Master has a long-lasting 4-cylinder metal pump for durability and performance. It is extremely stable due to a retractable front support, low center of gravity, and our "follow-me" hose reel. I've got an AG lance ready to try and was planning to move to an MTM PF22.2, but that might be overkill for me based on this performance. I am short on garage space, so easy storage was something else I've been particularly looking for. The P55 Go is excellent in this regard. Once coiled, the hose stores below the handle, the power lead has it's own storage space and there are spaces to store the most often used accessories on the machine itself. As I mentioned above, the handling of the hose is the only thing I've been slightly disappointed with, but that might be me expecting too much.
This has probably been done before, but I was hoping it might help some people who might be deciding on a new PW. The unit itself and all of the accessories feel really well built, more solid than my previous Karcher K5. I was very impressed by just how many accessories are included for the money. I doubt I'll use most of them, but it's always handy to have them just in case. Yes, they're new so a bit of an unknown but anyone who puts it out into the public domain that they're looking at up to 20 years warranty has got to be worth a look.
Meet the Portable
As for the Kranzle that's in a whole different league with a whole different price . And, sadly, I've been put off them for life after this thread: https://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=423832 I started by connecting the standard lance to the gun and tested both the 'Turbo' and '40 degree' nozzle. The Turbo was really powerful, far too much for car washing, but will be useful for other tasks.
