I've given this fragrance a few days worth of wearing and I can say with all honesty that it is one of the few recent purchases that I really dislike.

This stuff really reminds me of the late 2000's and the type of smell that you would come across in a high school party.

I first got a roller of this for Christmas as a gift and loved it so much I wore it everyday for a month.

Contrary to the intimidating bottle design, Hearts and Daggers is quite wearable, sweet, fruity and alluring. I'm thinking a teenie-bopper cologne that's high for high schoolers but to wear for a night out, professional affair, dates, etc, . For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates.I used this for a while but now find it a bit boring, nothing about this perfume really stands out to me. The perfumer somehow did all of this without any sea notes at all, I'm guessing all the saltiness is from that "martini" accord. I can't really remember how it precisely smells like, but i think i got some sweetness of fruit but not sure what fruit exactly in it. To sum this fragrance up it is a fresh spicy scent that focuses on a pear note (which is very nice if I don't say so myself).

After two successful fragrant pairs from the collection Ed Hardy Christian Audigier presents his third pair inspired by hearts and daggers in tattoo form. It is clean and yummy, not my absolute favourite of the EH lines but a wonderful floral-fruity fragrance. While it remains fruity and lightly floral, the amber, benzoin and violet leaf are all very present in the dry down, and when they join the party, they round out and complete this wonderfully girly, playful summer scent.Also, I agree with some of the other posters below, a great starter scent for a younger person, just like aqua di gio would be imo, but not nearly as over-worn as di gio, also does not last as long. That isn't a bad thing, you need to mix it up from time to time but it is far more flowery than the others I've used.
