Quiet books should be fun and engaging, should hold a child’s interest, and should be directed toward the child’s individual skill level. Quiet books are great for keeping in your purse or in the car to bring out during church, doctor’s appointments, long car rides, restaurants, airplane trips … any time you will experience a long wait and loud play is not appropriate. Children will love to complete every felt scene as they match the soft felt play pieces to the simple story. Once you have all of your eyelets in place, simply grab some metal book rings* (like those in the picture above) and sting all of the pages together.
