Description

After the application period for your preferred specialty has ended, and you've been shortlisted, you'll have the opportunity to register with Pearson VUE and schedule an interview score your MSRA, provided you meet the eligibility requirements specified in the application process. Here, we outline teaching resources prior to the pandemic, how trainee education has been impacted by COVID-19, and the longer-term implications of this. The scores for each paper are also banded (1 – 4), with a band one indicating that the minimum threshold has not been met. We mentioned it already, but remember the papers are not negatively marked, so answering a question will always be better than leaving it blank. If you chose to take the optional scheduled break, your computer will be locked by the invigilator for security purposes.

In my opinion it is by far and away the most focussed and most realistic in terms of what the actual exam was like. One in January for Round 1 applications and one in September for Round 2 with booking opening the month before. By mimicking the exam conditions, you can develop your speed to ensure that you can complete all the questions within the timeframe, and your stamina to complete the two papers.Thank you also for all the tips about when to book/the whole process, I have not felt on my own through it all. In section two of the PD paper there's a scenario, there's eight options and you're asked to select the three most appropriate options from the list. As you embark on this journey, remember that the MSRA is not just a stepping stone in your medical career; it's an opportunity to develop the skills and mindset necessary for a lifetime of patient care. Previous exam takers have recommended 2-3 months time for revision, beginning with a gradual approach and progressively intensifying your study efforts closer to the exam. This is a pretty sensible investment in my opinion because, as we'll see later, doing as many realistic questions as possible is the best way to prepare for the multi specialty recruitment assessment exam.

In the CPS part of the assessment, candidates are presented with clinical scenarios that require them to exercise judgement and problem solving skills to determine appropriate diagnosis and management of patients. Practice questions for both section 1 and section 2 of this paper, with detailed answers and feedback. Although a general understanding of typical primary/secondary care work is required, the Professional Dilemmas Paper does not assess specific knowledge within speciality training or your problem solving skills.

Your score is based on how you perform relative to the average of your cohort in that particular sitting. The best question banks have questions that are very close to the actual questions you will get in the actual MSRA and will come with full explanations. Your mastery level for each topic in the Medibuddy MSRA question bank will help you decide which areas you should focus on.
