About this deal

The Print Authority is a premier printing company with an array of graphic design and printing services. If you are looking to get across the idea of discounts and value for money then you may decide to run with a lighter paper weight throughout the brochure. Uncoated paper is a really popular trend right now, and that's driven by America's favorite generation to hate: Millennials. However, if you want to make a thick brochure with more than two folds, the 70 lb text is a good option. If you're looking to really create some impact with your printed materials, request samples from your printer.

In general, most brochures work best when printed on paper no lighter than 70 lb (105 gsm) and no heavier than 100 lb (150 gsm). Creating Tri-Fold Leaflets that reflect your brand and set you apart from the competition has never been easier! This option is comparable to a large home printer, and is cheaper than Litho printing for smaller quantities. For Hardcover items, add a 5mm hinge area on both sides of the spine and 20mm bleed to the top and bottom. Right behind the graphic design, coatings (or lack thereof) are important in creating the visual appeal of your brochure.Next up you may decide on the size of the brochure (A4, A5 or DL), how many pages it is to have (4, 8, 16, 32, etc…), how many hundreds or thousands you need to be printed and what sort of budget you have to work with (if you hadn’t already decided on this at the start). Getting your design right and filling it with content and images is often the first thing you will sort out. Most items require a 3mm bleed, including Flat items and the inner pages and covers on Bound and Paperback items. Smaller page sizes can, however, lend themselves to making an impact and can work particularly well in providing support information for products. Our society has used Mixam a lot and found them good value, high quality and very proactive and helpful if any problems arise.

Then look at our A3+ papers - w e have a great Matte Art Canvas and a superb heavy weight, top quality Resin Coated Paper. Be sure to take this into account when you choose the paper thickness and number of folds in your brochure. The answer depends on how you want to use the finished product — and the message you want to send about your business. However, your particular brochure design, and the contents in your brochure, will ultimately determine which is the best option for you. There are two main things to consider before looking further into brochure printing, both which will affect how your brand comes across. But if you want a brochure that can stand up on display on the trade stand, for example, or that will still look good after it’s passed through several hands and bags, this could be a good option for you. They’re lightweight and easy to distribute, which means they can quickly and easily tell thousands of people about your business. The small business marketing professional must stay in tune with marketing buzzwords, changes in SEO, data analytics, graphic design trends and new disciplines so they stay in the marketing game.
