In OBS even if I have canvas and output set to 3840x2160, and add the source capture video configuration at 3840x2160, OBS seems to see it as a 1920x1080 device.I feel like camlink pro has enough inputs for video/audio but is it any good for capturing gaming etc, I also noticed it tops out at 4k30. If a manual is present please read these thoroughly to ensure correct operation/set up of the product. I did kind of find a work around, when setting up the source change the resolution to custom, select the 4k resolution, FPS - match Output, Video format - NV12, color space 709. I do think the Camlink Pro only supports 4k30 when using NV12, and that the issue was created by OBS defaulting to YUY2 or something which made the source 1080.

To fix this, go into Resolution/FPS Type choose Custom choose 3840x2160 and change the Video Format to one that comes in at 4k resolution (I tested mine until one came through and filled the screen). Little more card can change resolution from higher to lower but not FPS or interpolation to progressive mode.Are you implying that my 4k video source is somehow listening to what I am doing, and changes what it sends when it realizes I am running OBS? The lesser usb3-based CamLink 4k does work at 4k -- though obviously the 4-hdmi pcie card would be preferable. If further assistance is required though, we would recommend contacting the manufacture directly as this may be the quickest method.
