About this deal

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Two sets of rails let you install one or two cooling radiators up to 420mm long in the top or front positions (the longest radiators requiring you to remove the optical drive bay), and you can also mount a radiator in the rear exhaust position (120mm or 140mm) or on the case bottom (120mm to 240mm). PayPal Credit and PayPal Pay in 3 are trading names of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH.

This is a somewhat strange configuration, as there's only one spot inside for actually mounting an optical drive. In addition to the excellent support for hardware and cooling, the Cosmos C700M also pleases visually.

Port is Cooler Master’s modular mounting system that expands mounting options for hardware and brackets.A large plastic mesh filter that covers the entire bottom of the chassis is removable from the front. The top filter is a more conventional light mesh sandwiched between layers of metal and plastic, and the decorative metal layer may prove restrictive to top-mounted radiators, especially towards the back of the case where there are fewer holes. I began working on computers owned by immediate family members and relatives when I was around 10 years old. The front door has been fitted with electronic contacts so that you can remove it (and the lights here) without fiddling with cables. If you rotate the tray 90 degrees, then the system will then be in what Cooler Master dubs a "chimney" configuration that can have a positive effect on the thermals inside of your PC, with the cooling exhaust pointing upward.

That said, be ready for some rather non-deluxe bumps along the way to building out your dream machine here. This bracket serves as a vertical mounting location for a dual-slot graphics card, letting you show off your card face-on to the transparent left side panel. In the older model, there was a thin plastic shell that almost completely covered a nice mesh front for no good reason. The display of third-party trademarks and trade names on this site does not necessarily indicate any affiliation or the endorsement of PCMag. Otherwise, it's an excellent compromise versus the optical-drive situation in most cases today: either no bays (fine, if you don't need one), or a bay or two that many users don't use and that's thus a visual detraction.
