About this deal

The distillery houses a bespoke still that was commissioned and crafted in Speyside by master coppersmiths the Speyside Copper Works. Built at the height of the Scottish Enlightenment period in 1720, at the House of Elrick they celebrate the minds of the enlightened. The botanicals are hand-picked by their Master of Gin and include juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root and citrus peel, built around a core of heather, pink peppercorns, sweet fennel and rose petals. com is an appointed representative of ITC Compliance Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (their registration number is 313486) and which is permitted to advise on and arrange general insurance contracts as an intermediary. Back in 1720, when Scotland was at the height of the enlightenment era, The House of Elrick was established. House of Elrick Gin is like no other, made using the finest botanicals, hinting towards the essence of our home in Scotland that includes Heather Pearls, Rose Petals and water from the oldest and deepest source of Loch Ness. The water used in this beautifully crafted gin comes from the Loch Ness, it is the only spirit which is made with this water resulting in a fresh, earthy and bold infusion of flavours.

Established in 2018 by Stuart Ingram, House of Elrick is a premium small batch artisan distillery located at the heart of the Elrick Estate, nestled in the lowlands of Aberdeenshire. House of Elrick Gin is like no other, made using the finest botanicals, hinting towards the essence of our home in Scotland that includes Heather Pearls and Rose Petals. Our liquid is distilled by hand in batches of 600 bottles per run, which means we can maintain control over every bottle that leaves our distillery. House of Elrick Gin comes to us from Aberdeen, featuring a selection of botanicals including juniper, coriander, citrus, angelica, pink peppercorn, sweet fennel, heather and rose petals. House of Elrick Old Tom Gin is the resurrection of an original liquid taken from a 17th century recipe.

Often the gin will be infused with a flavour post-distillation through maceration or even the addition and blending of individual distillates or essences. Classic juniper and coriander dominate the nose but the palate reveals nicely interwoven heather, sweet fennel, pink peppercorns and rose petals. The House of Elrick brand is synonymous with Scotland and their delicate, yet bold premium gin uses 9 gorgeous botanicals and the freshest water from Loch Ness. Built at the height of the Scottish Enlightenment period in 1720, the home hosted lively discussions from some of the most respected creative, philosophical and scientific minds of the time.

It was the home of an entrepreneurial family of cattle farmers and millers who traveled a lot bringing back tales of new science and philosophical learnings.

A friend bought me a bottle of this as a present after seeing it on Dragon's Den and I have to say it is very nice! Kitchen: With breakfast area, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, American style fridge freezer and dishwasher. The stunning dining room provides the perfect setting for a memorable meal, and after there is plenty of space to spread out with formal and informal living rooms, a snug gin bar, a whisky room as well as a well equipped kitchen with informal sitting area. Nestled in the lowlands of Aberdeenshire, the House of Elrick Estate is a family home which has only passed hands five times in 300 years.
