About this deal

In IMT threads, members of our community can promote their own work, including commercial projects and crowdfunding. Possibly more interesting to people seeking knowledge of the Warhammer world, it is never the less a worthy purchase for any fan of the written word, all in all lovely book.

Most were excellently written, but the one which seems prized above almost all of them was the Liber Chaotica. The original Liber Chaotica books were the first real attempt by any author to catalogue the four Chaos gods, the source of all magic and all evil in the Warhammer world.

War and Pleasure are two such opposites, facing each other across eternity, hating and warring, two ideals seperated by an impassable gulf of Belief and Purpose. Seems to me if they didn't want to say it was a copyright issue, or were contractually obliged to not say the reason.

For instance, in Slaves to Darkness, it is noted that even the most valiant and noble-minded Empire warrior can unknowing serve Khorne. Yet, even with that said, you can find yourself re-reading certain bits to just try and confirm the information present. The author have succeed to present the nature and aspects of the Chaos Gods and their followers like never before. His brothers left Him then, one with a sigh and one with a chuckle, for both knew that the ending was close. The book starts out with an in-depth treatment of old tribes (Norse, Tong, Kurgan, Hung) which didn't do too much for me personally.Over the years, I obviously stumbled upon some of the limited edition stuff, but I don’t remember how it went down exactly. The authors take the role of an editor who goes through Kless’ works, which contains studies, illustrations and excerpts from other fictional sources. We see everything from outlines of the early Chaos groups which form up most of Khorne's marauders to the underlying corruption of Nurgle. It might be some specific elements that, when translated into Polish or released for that market, cause issues?

Reddit and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to provide you with a better experience. He gains visions of the Warhammer 40,000 universe in probably the most explicit Warhammer Fantasy/40k crossover ever made (arguably after that one time a Genestealer played Blood Bowl). It also cover their minions and followers, but they are used as a mean to explain and to push further the psychology and implications associated to the the four Chaos Gods motto (Blood, Pleasure, Decay and Change).

The work discusses the minor gods, the types of gods, and general information on the nature of Chaos. The original Liber Chaotica books were the first to catalogue the full horror of the four Chaos gods - Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle and Tzeentch. Then with a scream of release that ripped through the Warp, Slaanesh threw off His eldest brother and burst into being. This site uses cookies to deliver our services, improve performance, for analytics, and (if not signed in) for advertising. The rub is that, while I have no real need of the books, I don’t particularly need the money/space either.
