We’re always looking for games that allow adults and kids to play together, and Match Madness hits the target perfectly because of the multiple difficulty levels. They don't understand that some languages are harder than others, and this is only making the XP spammers (in the easier languages) gravitate to this to get their 10,000XP in one day.

I also recommend (to maximize point getting, if thats your thing) to NOT try for level 9 because you only get 15xp if you don’t complete it but lower levels give you 20 or 30 xp for not completing the level.With the new incremental format, it’s virtually impossible for me to complete all the levels, so I spend four days ignoring the challenge because I can’t get past level 7. The advantage of this is that it does not require processing speed or the relative equality of different players in these skills. It’s as appealing as a children’s toy with about as many rules, but once you get underway there’s a real knack to Match Madness and the speed aspect ensures plenty of laughs and adrenaline! At the start of the game players also determine which stack they’ll play from and they can’t cross over. We also wish there were more than 4 sets of blocks in the game so that more people could play at a time.

I can see this game being a huge hit in any of our Kindergarten through 5th grade classrooms as a go-to indoor recess game. Using a Row Blaster, the time limit remains the same; but, instead of the usual 5 rows, you’ll only have to contend with 4. I don’t advise leaving both if they both match because new words take too long to appear in the remaining. I’m a bit dissapointed to learn there used to be a different version of match madness that was doable. So when you complete the first tier, don’t feel as though you have to rush straight into the second tier.The varying levels of patterns to recreate/match make this appropriately challenging for a range of ages, even adults.
