It’s so funny to see people struggle so much too, especially if you could have answered yourself quickly! Either name 3 more, 2 more, draw a new card or move on to the next player before the timer turn red and your time is up. When the end round chime sounds, all players count up the number of cards that they have won and move their pawn that number of spaces around the timer.

This could mean naming 2 or 3 more things, taking another card or passing the turn to the next player. Recently we received a brilliant game to review, and the first question when we got all the pieces out of the box was “how to play Spintensity?

When you finish your round successfully, you move your pawn round to the right by the amount of points (cards) you scored. The topics on the cards ranged from food to celebrities to intense characters to name uses for duct tape so there were topics that could interest almost anyone. We loved the game on the whole, but we did find that sometimes the 5 seconds allowed for reading the question was too long, and we ended up having more than the 5 seconds to answer in total! Overall, we have always loved the 5 Second Rule games, but Spintensity is our favourite from the ones we have played (we have played 5 Second Rule Jr, Electronic and Uncensored).

There’s a great mix of questions for all ages and genre’s which means everyone is going to come across cards they find easy, push them a little of they just can’t answer at all… which adds to the fun.
