The main gist of Hearts and Daggers for Men is fusing an aquatic with common cocktail accords, maybe to make it club-friendly, but ultimately to make it really loud compared to others in it's class. I think if somebody like Paco Rabanne, or even really any other designer put this out it would have been a huge hit and competitive with 1 Million. I wish it lasted longer and was stronger which is why I have 2 bottles so I can spray myself as much as I want. The mango and apple really mix well together on my skin, and the scent made me want to bite my arm (not really but you get it). I do really like the fresh and fruity notes but the basil and pepper just don't mesh with the fruity notes and it makes this a synthetic mess of a fragrance. If you are into fruity scents and want a little pick me up for your gym bag or something, this might be a good fragrance for you. I can't really remember how it precisely smells like, but i think i got some sweetness of fruit but not sure what fruit exactly in it.I am sorry as this is not my intention to offend anyone, but this is such an average scent that it doesn't have the right to be even exposed in the same place as the big houses like Guerlain or Dior or others like them. Notes: Blood orange, violet leaf, apple, mango, apple blossoms, pink jasmine, cashmere musk, amber, benzoin and blond woods. We are in Compliance with the trading standards statement of policy REGARDING COMPARATIVE ADVERTISING. The perfumer somehow did all of this without any sea notes at all, I'm guessing all the saltiness is from that "martini" accord. I first got a roller of this for Christmas as a gift and loved it so much I wore it everyday for a month.

This stuff really reminds me of the late 2000's and the type of smell that you would come across in a high school party. hint: one of the things my ex comes back to me and tells me is "you smelled amazing your scent drove me nuts"(in a good way) and that was 3 yrs ago and he still remembers it! Top notes are Red Apple, Blood Orange and Violet Leaf; middle notes are Mango, Apple Blossom and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, Woodsy Notes, Benzoin and Amber.

I think these perfumes from Ed Hardy are along the fruity/vanilla line the original one is more citrus, pepper, wood.
