The book arrived dented on the bottom of the spine and I was so disappointed to find that it is 52 weeks of shawls with a different title. So i purchased this book because i already had "52 weeks of shawls" and though great, i'll have the scarves book too.They publish books focusing on knitting, crafts, food and lifestyle, as well as Laine , their international knit and lifestyle magazine. I will now save your fingers and shoulders and promise that 52 shawls will give you enough to do for 52 years. The 52 projects have been contributed by leading knitwear designers from across the world and showcase an exceptionally wide range of yarns, techniques and difficulty levels, including two crochet designs. This collection showcases an exceptionally wide range of yarns, techniques and levels of difficulty and also includes two crochet designs. The notation of patterns is a bit eccentric in places especially for an older UK knitter used to standard knitting notation but I will work it out I’m sure.
