About this deal

The writing is neat, there is some 'hard' part, and I kinda hate reading that part, but goes past that, it successfully able to kept me occupied reading it.

I can’t help you there, but what I would say is that when sitting inside a British-engineered Land Rover Defender, you will feel very, very happy and secure in its capabilities to deal with anything thrown at it. I thought this was an unusual, cool and intriguing concept and I can`t think of anything especially similar to this. It really is an upgrade of an iconic classic, whilst being loyal to the past with its flat back, rounded front and rounded lights. The Revised Game Board for the Defenders of the Realm base game which features much cleaner graphic design for clarity and readability. After the Defender’s losing battle against the Black Dragon, the United Kingdom finds itself under the cruel control of “Lord Protector” Lock, the undead Viking invaders and the monstrous berserkers unleashed by the Raven Banner.I'm sure some highly critical readers will find many holes in this story (I did wonder about the dialogue - if it resembles how British youngsters talk), but I think middle grade readers will like the action and twists, and the plot was easy to follow. Find out what happened next in this trilogy by Nick Ostler and Mark Huckerby, in the sequels Dark Age and King’s Army.

Just having defeated the Black Dragon at his coronation, Alfie is trying to focus on making less of a fool of himself in his day job, something the Prime Minister is keen to encourage as much as possible, when a new threat hits the Kingdom. The cliff-hanging ending has me on tenterhooks, wanting to know precisely what’s going to happen next. With the help of his twin brother Richard (younger by 10 seconds), his history professor, and bodyguard Alfie learns what it means to take on his two new roles. I really hope that when this is read in classrooms, it encourages children towards history and all the fantastic stories of the past. It's a story deeply rooted in Britain, exploring famous landmarks and the succession of the monarchy since the dark ages, starting with Alfie's namesake Alfred the Great.

After the great battle at the young king’s coronation, the nation thinks that the Black Dragon has gone for good.
