Likely meant to be used upon beating the stage, which doesn't happen since in-game the regular menu theme plays instead. While the DS can’t offer the same lush 3D visuals as the console versions – or even the PSP edition – the graphics are still eminently likeable and appealing.

It also revives many one-off jokes from past Simpsons episodes, some of which are so obscure that you might miss them. As you play through the game, you’ll see a lot of familiar faces as the game features many of your favourite Simpsons characters. The development team found it particularly difficult to render Lisa's spiky hair as 2D in the game's 3D environment.A third installment, the DSi, was released in 2009, and contains larger screens, two cameras, and the ability to edit pictures. Obviously being an admirer of the series is a big help – possibly even a requirement – but the gameplay is so engaging most people will get plenty of enjoyment. After seeing the destruction and the mob, the video game representative takes back his bribe and Marge is pleased, though Lisa points out the irony of Marge's use of violence to get her way, which was what she was objected about. Each level puts one or two characters to the task of completing the challenge, and each character has his or her own abilities to get the job done. Be an action hero with Bart and a wreaking ball of destruction with Homer, and you’ll use the stylus to solve puzzles and defeat enemies with Marge and Lisa. For those who like their animated comedy with a hefty dose of sarcasm, satire and plain ol' daftness, well, The Simpsons has been doing it best for longest. Though much of what makes it good has been lifted from the console renditions (script, level ideas, voice-over), the DS developers give the handheld gamers a unique gameplay experience. He can turn into Bartman, allowing him to use zip-lines, climb certain walls, glide over long distances, and do other acrobatic feats.

Two different family members are playable in each level, [2] [3] aside from the tutorial level, "The Land of Chocolate", in which only Homer is playable, in all of the levels in which Marge appears, in which Maggie is also playable, and the final level, "Game Over", where all members of the family are playable. Marge has a megaphone to recruit people to a mob and tell them to destroy, fix or build things and to step on platforms. Good - The item shows wear from consistent use, but it remains in good condition and works perfectly. Maggie is, in effect, an extension of Marge, briefly being playable in air ducts and other small spaces.The family has to defeat his Praystation, Xodus Box, and his Hii (Iam in Wii version) by stepping on the arrows in the right time to destroy the enemies and keep them from hurting his life bar. It’s here where the game truly shines, and if you happen to be a keen videogamer as well as a fan of the show then you’re in for a treat of truly awesome proportions.
