About this deal

Professionally, it was the chance of a lifetime for my father, and personally, it was an opportunity for my parents to create a new chapter in their life together.

I mean, love our Livvy because she is an Australian icon and all, but it was a monotonous, blow by blow account of her life that sounded contrived and strained. So this incomplete picture of Newton-John's life, especially her relationships and health issues, may do a disservice by making people think the answer is to just pretend that everything is going to be fine or giving people with very serious conditions false hope with simplistic solutions that go against the advice of modern medicine. I'm a huge fan of Olivia Newton-John and have long followed her career, listened to her music, seen her films and even once had the opportunity to meet her.

Forty years ago, Olivia Newton-John launched a million dreams — and, later, feminist backlash — when she stepped onto a high-school field in a pair of skintight black pants, puffing a cigarette, her hair tarted up in curls. My father was away, serving in World War II at Bletchley Park, working on the Enigma project, and she was left alone with two young children. What did was the breadth of animals she loved, from horses and dogs, the koala bears and kookaburras of her homeland and even a bit about magpies!

Warm, candid, and moving, Don’t Stop Believin' is Olivia Newton-John's story in her own words for the very first time. A Serving of Crime with a Difference - You May Just Discover Something Unique, Different, or Unusual in These 20 Crime Novels.
