All products are available in 100ml. 250ml 500ml and 1 Litter quantities and can be supplied in a kit containing cleaner and brush! A. Ideally if it’s no trouble for you (we would). But on the whole, no, if you’re doing this at home and don’t have the facilities to remove your brakes and do them ‘properly’, then we just recommend that you be as thorough as possible when it comes to cleaning and preparing the brakes. If you are spraying the product while on the car, we highly advise bagging the vehicle and thoroughly masking the disc, pads and arches.

This is an important step — the more time you spend preparing the calipers, the better and neater the finish will be. Firstly, take off the front retainer clip and then cover the bleeder valve using masking tape to protect it. Ensure the valve is completely covered. Overlapping the layers of masking tape may help to prevent paint from leaking into the joins. Then, cover the brake hose fittings with tape too. Apply to surface with thin coats once precious coat is touch dry until desired finish. (If Below 15c wait longer than 15-20 mins.) One of the most important parts of painting your brake calipers is of course the preparation. All of the caliper’s components need to be removed and you will need to cover all other exposed areas apart from the caliper itself.Once the paint is completely dry, you can proceed to reinstall the wheels on to the car. When installing the wheels, make sure that you use a torque wrench to tighten the wheels to the correct torque specs and avoid hitting the caliper. Once installed, you can then lower the car and inspect the final finish with the calipers behind the wheel.

In terms of removing certain parts of the caliper, you’ll want to begin by removing the retainer clip. You can then proceed to cover the bleeder valve with masking tape to ensure that it’s completely covered.

What Are The Most Popular Colours?

Therefore it’s important that you use a brake caliper paint that’s designed to cope with the heat and harsh contaminants such as brake dust.
