A Stoke-on-Trent distillery have officially launched their latest spirit - a very special gin inspired by the city with a 'unique story of culture in every bottle'. It is also releasing 1,000 limited edition silver bottles after scooping a prestigious industry award.

A lot of what we do is about our heritage. Our great-grandparents distilled from grains and other resources in the city of Rezekne. A lot of the recipes did come from my family who have been distilling since the 1800s. In 1998, the pair moved to Stoke-on-Trent and began selling state-of-the-art Genio distillery equipment which has gone on to serve more than 100 distilleries across the country.The company has already started work on transforming a 3,500 sq ft space at the Barlaston attraction into its new distillery.
