Pairing the earbuds to my iPhone 14 Pro was easy. I simply opened the charging case and then waited for the Soundpeats to appear in my Bluetooth menu. There is a pairing button on the front of the charging case that can force the process if needed. I found the user manual to be less than helpful. It provides basic information, but isn’t very in depth. It’s a mixed review for the SoundPEATS Air4 Lite Earbuds. Unfortunately for me, they’re simply too uncomfortable for prolonged use, the sound is alright, but certainly not up to the usual SoundPEATS standard. It’s a shame as there’s so much room for improvement, wouldn’t take too much to take the user experience from OK to good. Firstly, the app needs a rethink, adding some more customisable equaliser features would be a great start, that is if you can get logged into the app in the first place of course. But there are many other features that go into a good pair of wireless buds. To fully evaluate these earbuds, we’ll have to look much closer. We’ll need to discuss the design and the physical build, as well as the aesthetics. We’ll discuss the Bluetooth performance and battery life, along with any relevant extra features. After that, we’ll have a clear picture of what we’re dealing with. Let’s begin! And I returned the phones and got a second pair through my supplier, in case I had a faulty pair. No good - the touch controls were still too unreliable to use.

On a single charge, the U-AIR4 earbuds will run for about 5 hours. That’s assuming you’re listening at medium volume. If you’re listening at higher volumes, 4 hours of battery life is more realistic. This isn’t exactly impressive, but it’s not terrible, either.
