Don't five sparrows cost two pennies? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's permission. (7) Even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid, because you're more valuable than many sparrows. And Jesus told him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Humanity has nowhere to rest his head." If your brother offends you, correct him. If he changes, forgive him. (4) Even if he offends you seven times a day, then forgive him seven times. Jesus was amazed when he heard this. He told his followers, "I'm telling you the truth: I haven't found such trust even in Israel."

Matt. 11:2-6, “ Now when John, while imprisoned, heard of the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples 3 and said to Him, “Are You the Expected One, or shall we look for someone else?” 4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: 5 the blind receive sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them . 6 “And blessed is he who does not take offense at Me.” When you're going with your adversary, do your best to settle the case on the way there, or else your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and the officer may throw you into prison. (59) I'm telling you that you won't get out of there until you've paid the very last penny! The protagonist is driven by a lust for a self-determined life, not any sense of a spiritual mission. The papal spy is working on the mission of Carafa to maintain the fundament of the catholic church through the reformation. The fundament is fear of god which is threatened by protestantism and it's central principle "sola fide", i.e. the justification by faith alone. Ho trovato tutt’altro.

Udo Schnelle comments on the provenance of Q ( The History and Theology of the New Testament Writings, p. 186):

The cold war between pro-capitalist and pro-communist spooks is trasplanted into the killing fields of Reformation Holy Roman Empire by the collective of writers known as Luther Blisset. The story attempts to follow the careers of a radical protestant and an underground member of the inquisition ("Q") for over 30 years, as they circle and try to dispose of each other. The set-pieces (the battle of Frankenhausen, the revolution in Leyden) are well-told, but most of the characters are not well-defined and so it is difficult to care for them. Woe to you, lawyers! You shut people out of God's reign. You didn't enter, and didn't let those enter who are trying to do so. On January 21, 2011, the Italian producer Domenico Procacci optioned Q to make a movie and commissioned the screenplay for the film to Giaime Alonge and Alessandro Scippa. Procacci's production company, Fandango, was planning a co-production with other countries. [10] Altai: a "return to Q " [ edit ] So it was with "Q". I sat, as I waited for lunch in Brodsky's, and started reading... I read it on the steps as I waited for the concert hall to open... I read it on the tram on my way home and I read and I read and I read.

Also, the main character is unbearable, always complaining "how many things I've seen, how many things I've gone through...", just shut up! And he's obviously ALWAYS strong, brave, on the good side, he always falls in love with "beautiful" and intrepid women... Can someone who can't see guide another person who can't see? Won't they both fall into a pit? (40) A disciple isn't greater than their teacher. It's enough for the disciple to become like their teacher.

I'm telling you that John is greater than anyone who's been born, but whoever is least in God's reign is still greater than he, (29) because John came to you […] the toll collectors and […] (30) but […] him. When John heard all these things, he sent his disciples (19) to ask him, "Are you the coming one, or should we look for someone else?"
