Cadbury joins a growing number of food giants that have developed vegan options of their iconic confections. Also in the UK, Swiss brand Lindt & Sprungli launched a vegan milk-chocolate line. The oat-based chocolate bars are sold under its HELLO collection in three flavors: Cookie, Salted Caramel, and Hazelnut.

As I said, I know that these chocolate delights are not chocolate bars, but if you are in need of some delicious vegan truffles, you know where to go. Diet Plant Bars provides approximately 16g of quality protein with less than 3g of sugar, and impressively, less than 199 calories in a delicious tasting, plant based protein bar. To accompany this, Diet Plant Bar also contains L-Carnitine and Green Tea Extract which supports fat loss and aids the maintenance of a lean physique. Cadbury has finally announced the release of its first ever vegan chocolate bar - and there are two different flavours to choose from. Unlike other chocolate bars, I don’t find H!P’s chocolate to be overly sugary. Instead, the fun flavours and crunchy textures of the bar are the real star of the show.

The Smooth Chocolate was my favourite for its simplicity, although, the Salted Caramel flavour will definitely be a winner for those wanting that extra crunch!⁠

Each bar is made with unroasted cocoa (AKA raw cocoa nibs) meaning the chocolate is less processed and has a natural taste.
