He threatens her little sister if she doesn't marry him (we know from the text that he doesn't mean it, but she doesn't and he is actively using her belief that he does to get what he wants from her). I was so excited to find out more about Calix & Thalia after reading some other books by Adelaide Forrest and this did not disappoint. In fact, Calix may be one of my favorite heroes by this author thus far. Is he still crazy and obsessive and very demanding and controlling? Yes.
