About this deal

MEAGHAN: I have to agree with Thomas. Maybe, just maybe, if this shoe was a tad lighter it could be even better. My W7.5 came in at 8.75 oz, not a fattened cow by any means, but I’ve been spoiled with daily trainers under 8oz. I have run in every version of the New Balance More, and have come to the conclusion that it may be my favorite line of running shoes available. I have loved each version for different reasons, and have yet to be disappointed by them.

We just love pull tabs. They look amazing in most shoes and, above everything, they make it easy for us to slip into the shoe. Personal: B (The shoe rides smoothly and does its job well. I'm not a huge max cushion shoe fan though) MEAGHAN: You guys, the New Balance Fresh Foam More v3 is the Lovesac of running shoes. It’s a booster cushion for your feet. It’s everything I want in a daily trainer, and exactly what my legs crave in the middle of marathon training.

This shoe is very close in design and purpose to the Hoka Bondi 7, and if you saw our review of that shoe I just thought it was too stiff. The Bondi fits heavier runners really well, and the ample amounts of foam underfoot were not that useful in my tests. Jeff: It’s big, it’s wide, it’s soft. There has never been this much FreshFoam X put underneath the foot, and the result is exactly what you think it might be. Few shoes are this soft, yet, I don’t believe many runners will have stability complaints. The platform width takes care of that, as well as a substantial rubber outsole strip along the medial side of the midfoot.

This is a great shoe for anyone who is prioritizing comfort over everything else. The upper and the midsole provide all the comfort you’ll need on any long run or recovery run. If you’re a fan of maxed cushion and the weight doesn’t bother you, then I would even go as far as recommending this shoe for everyday runs. You can’t go wrong with this shoe. The material used on the upper is a double jacquard mesh which is flexible, and very breathable. However, as I found out while running during a rain storm halfway through my tests, they let all the water in. And they were not great at expunging the water that got in. So on those runs in the rain, your feet are going to get very wet. New Balance Fresh Foam More – ConclusionWhile this is not strictly the case anymore, the concept stays: you can expect the cost (and features) of the shoe to go up when moving from a “8” model to a “10” or a “12”.

BEN: Weight didn’t bother me, but cutting a few ounces never hurts. Although I don’t think I’d trade the stable platform for a weight drop. Sam: So much heavier the UB 21… I don’t mind its aggressive stiff geometry and firmer ride at all but the weight at 2.7 oz more than More is the showstopper in this comparison. Asics Novablast 2 - Not entirely a max cushioned, but still a highly, highly cushioned trainer that does recovery well I was surprised how much I enjoyed running in the More v3. I had the first More and I hated it. It was clunky, rigid, and stiff. It was such a mismatch for me that it goes down as one of the worst shoes I have ever run in.Indulge in unrivalled comfort and support with the New Balance Fresh Foam More v3. These cushioned running shoes are built to provide a luxurious running experience, making them an ideal choice for training enthusiasts. With its premium features, including maximum cushioning, a responsive Fresh Foam X midsole, and durable construction, these shoes are sure to elevate your running performance.
