The thing about Playground though that I appreciate about it is the way it doesn't shy away from abuse. That's what this book is about. Abuse. Objectively that is what this is about.

Playground is a very terrifying and uncomfortable thriller that will make even the most hardened horror fan tremble, according to one critic. It was a relentless nightmare of a book that left me gasping for oxygen. With Playground, Aron Beauregard transcends himself, delivering a genuinely chilling, uncomfortable novel that will make even the most jaded horror fan squirm. A harrowing, relentless read that left me breathless." Geraldine and Fuchs are character's that are completely evil and unlikable, disgusting in all their enjoyment they have in living out their dream of watching the suffering of the children. There is a reason Geraldine is doing what she is, and it is somewhat sad, but clearly not justifiable. I think the ending worked really well and followed how the reader sees the events played out. Beauregard does a great job of showcasing the hurt that was created with Geraldine’s actions as well as how this directly impacted the various characters in the novel. When a band of dysfunctional children is suddenly thrust into a diabolical realm of violence, they must grow up instantly to have a chance at survival. Will they find a way to put their differences aside, or be swallowed up by the insidious architecture all around them? Playground by Aron Beauregard is a gripping and unsettling horror novel that takes readers on a terrifying journey into a nightmarish playground. The story revolves around three low-income families who are offered a substantial sum of money to participate in an unusual experiment. They are invited to Geraldine Borden’s cliffside estate, where they must allow their children to test out her revolutionary playground equipment.

At the heart of this story, one can't help but develop a connection and just feel every gut wrenching punch as each child must make their choices. What I didn’t like: You’ll need to go into this fully allowing yourself to just believe. Sure the scope/scale of these indoor rooms is insane. And so are the elaborate punishment devices that have been booby-trapped within each one to decimate the participants, but that’s part of the joy of reading something to just read and have fun. If you struggle to suspend belief for any amount of time, you’ll most likely want to stay clear of this one.Playground takes readers on a harrowing journey as they witness the desperate struggle for survival of a group of children trapped in a nightmarish realm. Aron Beauregard weaves a story filled with tension, gore, and a touch of redemption. The novel explores the dark side of human nature and tests the limits of the characters as they confront their fears and navigate the dangerous playground. Synopsis Beauregard emphasizes the importance of using fear as a motivator. He outlines how many great thinkers, explorers, and inventors have used it to overcome obstacles. They don’t let fear stop them, but use it to push themselves forward. Geraldine Borden: The mastermind behind the revolutionary playground equipment and the host of the fateful day at her estate.

Playground by Aron Beauregard is a truly chilling and uncomfortable novel that will leave even the most seasoned horror fans squirming. The author’s ability to create a relentless and suspenseful atmosphere is commendable. From the very beginning, the story grips you with its intense and diabolical premise, and it never lets go. The araon beauregard playground is a perfect activity for young children, since it encourages them to be creative and explore different ways to play within the space.Your child will no doubt be thrilled at their newfound playground, and who knows – you might even get a chance to join in on the fun! Keep in mind that all the materials needed to construct the playground are widely available and reasonably priced. Furthermore, the estimated construction-time is around 6 hours or less, depending on the level of skill of the builder.
