While there, she and Pipp discover (to their horror) that Queen Haven is romantically involved with Alphabittle. In Sunny Side Up, Zipp assists in the production of a cooking show starring Sunny and Hitch. In The Manesquerade Ball, Zipp attends the eponymous ball but only so she can investigate Alicorn magic in the palace library. When she finds that Misty has followed her, Zipp airs her suspicions and learns that Misty does not have a cutie mark. Pacified by this discovery, Zipp joins her friends in performing Sunny's unity dance.

When Zipp believes something is wrong with magic, Pipp initially believes she is worrying over nothing. When Zipp is proven right, Pipp and her friends work to fix things by easing the tensions between the three pony races. During the festival, the debut of Pipp's new song is interrupted by Earth pony protest, causing magic to go haywire. After the crisis is resolved, Pipp invites the repentant Posey to sing the new song with her. Pipp is confident, stylish, and glamorous. She is a talented pop star who treats the world as a stage and loves performing, singing, and engaging with her fans on social media on her mobile phone. Her performances mean a lot to her and she wants to lift others up with her songs. Misty joins the ponies of Zephyr Heights in giving their friendship to the Unity Trees which purifies them and together Opaline is finally defeated for good; sealed powerlessly inside of her Unity Tree thanks to Sparky’s spell. When she brought Sparky to Opaline in Chapter 4 - Missing the Mark, she felt guilty about what she'd done and went to get the Mane Five, however, she unknowingly lead them into a trap - which Opaline traps them in a magic cancellation bubble and Opaline revealed to them about Misty working with her all along which made them all upset and angry with her and leaving Misty at a crossroads about what to do next. In the end, she chose to help her friends since they showed her kindness, the kindness she deserved and treated her like a friend than a tool like Opaline does. Now Misty has magic which she now hides from Opaline along with her cutie mark. She went to the Brighthouse and apologized for everything she'd done says they helped make her whom she should have been the entire time - herself and she joins the Mane Five to find a way to defeat Opaline officially becoming the sixth member and making the Mane Five, the Mane Six of Generation 5. Courtney Howard from Variety gave the film a mostly positive review. She praised the film for "[retaining] its predecessors' lively, spirited drive centered on friendship, empowerment and magic," though was critical of some plot aspects. In Missing the Mark, Hitch wakes up in the sheriff station just to find that Sparky is missing again. Hitch and the rest of Mane 5 search all of the Crystal Brighthouse but to no avail. Misty informs them what happened to Sparky and leads them to Opaline's Dark Castle. There, they got captured by Opaline and learn that Misty was serving her the entire time. After Misty has a change of heart and frees them, Hitch and Zipp sneaks into Opaline’s room and save Sparky. In the end, Hitch and the others lend their cutie mark magic to Sunny, allowing her to overcome Opaline. My Little Pony: A New Generation is a 2021 animated adventure comedy film directed by Robert Cullen and José L. Ucha (both in their feature directorial debuts), and co-directed by Mark Fattibene with Cecil Kramer and Peter Lewis as producers. It was written by Gillian Berrow and Tim Sullivan from a story by Cullen, Ucha and Sullivan. Based on Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise, the film marks the beginning of the fifth incarnation of the franchise, which is set to serve as the official sequel to the previous generation, a first for the franchise. She first appears in the canyon outside of Zephyr Heights, practicing acrobatics. She stumbles across Izzy and Sunny and is surprised to see non-Pegasi near Zephyr Heights. She hears the approach of royal guards and asks for the two to keep their interaction a secret, and she dives off.
Now an adult, Hitch is next seen stopping Sunny from entering the Canterlogic factory, as he is now sheriff of the town. He is followed by seagulls and crabs all over town for an inexplicable reason. Hitch reminds Sunny that today is the annual presentation and tries to dissuade Sunny from entering. He and Sunny do their special handshake. It is revealed that Hitch had gotten Sprout, the deputy, to follow Sunny during her travels that morning. Hitch asks Sunny to stay out of the factory and keep a low profile that day, and then runs off to scold someone for littering.

A CGI-animated Christmas-themed special, My Little Pony: Winter Wishday, premiered on November 21, 2022, on Netflix, tied to the Make Your Mark series. [53] In Issue #9, Zipp stresses herself out trying to figure out where Discord is. After Pipp helps her find the missing clue, the Mane Five set out to confront him. Unfortunately, their waning magic leaves them defeated and captured by Discord. In Issue #10, the group work together to escape, and confront Discord again. After Izzy convinces Discord to stop, he joins them in playing a game Zipp created.
