Description

Engine coolant is needed to regulate the temperature of the motor and provide lubrication. Every car used to have green coolant, but now it depends on what type is being used. For example, Honda has a blue coolant, while Toyota uses a red. There are also orange, clear and maybe other colors of the rainbow. Therefore, the color alone isn’t going to indicate anything. With that said, we do advise against using a stop leak additive unless it’s absolutely necessary. At best, these solutions provide a temporary fix, but even worse, they can cause serious damage to the engine and drivetrain. Identify The Leaking Fluid

Removal. Your doctor can remove earwax with a small, spoon-shaped tool called a curette. The tool is designed to scrape the wax out of your ear canal without compacting any more in the ear. Apply 2 or 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide or natural oils to your ear canal opening. You can use baby oil, mineral oil, olive oil, or glycerin. Look under the vehicle to see where the leak is dripping from. If you see fluid on the underside of the vehicle, you may be able to better identify what it is. If the fluid leaking is green or yellow in colour, it’s possible it is coolant or antifreeze. However, coolant comes in other colours such as blue, pink, purple and even orange. Different manufacturers recommend different ones – for example, most Honda cars will have a blueish-coloured coolant. With such a host of different coolant variants, it can be hard to pinpoint the type of fluid leak, however, another way to identify if it is coolant is to observe the smell (from a safe distance). If it has a sweetish smell it is likely a toxic chemical called ethylene glycol. You can tell a lot about the current condition of your car’s transmission fluid by looking at it and making a mental note of what color it is . Under normal circumstances, your transmission fluid should be red and transparent. This will let you know that it’s still on the newer side and that you don’t have to worry about it at all. As long as you have red transmission fluid in your car, your transmission should work just fine and you shouldn’t have to be concerned about taking it in for transmission service any time.

Green or yellow vomit may also be a symptom of a more serious condition, such as bile reflux. If you have risk factors or experience other concerning symptoms, it’s a good idea to see a doctor. In a typical ear, wax slowly leaves the ear opening over time. It’s washed away, such as during a shower, or wiped away. If earwax production outpaces earwax removal, the wax may build up, dry out, and turn dark. Foreign objectsLiquid may seep out of your breasts on its own, or you may have to squeeze your nipple to get the fluid to come out. This is often routinely advisable as part of a breast examination. Very rarely; however, when it is, it’s is a sign of very early cancer which is known as ductal carcinoma in situ(DCIS). This is when the cells that line the milk ducts become cancer. As it is a very early form of cancer, it is easily treatable and curable. Hormone changes: normal changes in hormone levels, such as those that occur during menstruation may cause nipple discharge. Once you know there’s a coolant leak, you have a responsibility to keep a close eye on the reservoir. If the level gets low, the engine can overheat and you could deal with permanent damage. Even if the leak is minimal, it could change at any time, leaving you stranded on the side of the road. For that reason, we always recommend getting a coolant leak fixed immediately, no matter how small it is.
