About this deal

Our suggestion here is that you spend a bit of time looking around to see the sort of brands that are offering Prams and pushchairs and if you know you have a preference on which brand you’d buy then write yourself a list of top brands. Once you have complied your list of brands you can use this as a great way of filtering or narrowing down your search, great then there are 134 options in the Prams and pushchairs category. Yes! The first pushchair I’ve used where you really can fold it down with one hand. It isn’t overly complicated and even my mum can do it (honestly, my mum hasn’t been able to fold any of our pushchairs!)

The next step for us was to look at all of the products that fall within the Prams and pushchairs category, of which we found 126 products at Argos. So we pulled together all of the prices of these products to analyse the average prices as well as finding the cheapest and most expensive options. In a word, yes. 'It was responsive to push around, easy to steer with one hand and the brake was easy to put on and off, whilst still feeling safe and reliable,' says our parent tester, Ben. 'The ProFold's compact size and light frame make it easy to push around, particularly on busy pavements and in crowded shops, while the suspension makes it a smooth ride.' It’s also a slim stroller so it’s easy to squeeze through tight spots and maneuver. The slim design might not be ideal for people with bigger toddlers but this would probably be an issue with any lightweight stroller. Can be used from birthThe price of a product is another really good indicator of the quality because, as you’ll already know, you often get what you pay for. In the pricing section shortly you’ll see how the price of Micralite ProFold Pushchair compares to all of the other Prams and pushchairs available from our recommended retailer, Argos. The next step after looking at products in the same category, was to look at products from the same brand, Micralite. Mum-of-two Emily put the new-look ProFold through it's paces for us, here's what she thought: How did this product make your life easier?

The reversible seat cover is machine-washable, washing and air drying beautifully after having been soaked with a cup of juice and smeared with mud. The seat cover is easy to remove so doesn’t pose an obstacle should you need to wash it. If you need a buggy that doesn’t monopolise space in the car boot and can be taken on holiday, the Micralite ProFold may fit the bill.Next up is the material. Take a look at what Micralite ProFold Pushchair is made from. Often you can spot the quality of the product based on the materials used to make it, with some obvious signs of a cheaper product with certain types of material. With some toys this will be more important than others. So you’ll already have a good idea of whether the material is actually a big deal or not when buying Prams and pushchairs. Of the 126 products, we discovered that 30 were more expensive and 89 were cheaper than Micralite ProFold Pushchair. Prices from Micralite If the price appears to be significantly lower than you’d expect for the sort of product you’re buying, then you’d be wise to start looking in a bit more detail at other indicators of the quality. Although her three-year-old walked alongside her when travelling up and down stairs, she was able to manage the buggy and a bag while holding her daughter’s hand. She did note, however, that she wouldn’t want to do this with a pushchair any heavier.

For a buggy so narrow, the ProFold is surprisingly spacious and, despite the 15kg weight limit, our tester felt that her three-year-old still had room left to grow. The bamboo seat liner is soft and well-padded, and there is also a sturdy footrest for tired legs. What did you think of my Micralite ProFold review? Are you in the middle of choosing a new pram? If you have any further questions about this pram, feel free to leave a comment in the box below.Just before we get into the detail of analysing the price of this product, we want to briefly highlight the importance of setting yourself a budget before you spend too much time shopping around for a suitable product. It’s all too often that we get carried away when shopping and find ourselves buying a fantastic product, but probably actually overdelivers on what we need and therefore costs a lot more than we should have spent. So spend a bit of time looking around at the sort of price you can expect to pay for products in the Prams and pushchairs category and use that alongside your own financial situation to set yourself a budget.
