Initially the serum did break me out so stopped using it for a week to let my skin heal. Later I gave it another try by limiting its use to 2 times a week until my skin slowly got used to the serum. Now a days I am able to use it in the morning and at night alternating with AHA and retinol without any problems. These essential oils create a pleasant fragrance, but keep in mind that fragrance is not skin care! These ingredients have the potential to cause skin sensitivity reactions. The first thing I noticed after I started using the Goodal Green Tangerine Vitamin C Serum is that it didn’t irritate my hyper-sensitive skin. And within two days my active acne flattened. I kept using it religiously for a month and since then I got two more acnes that flattened right after erupting. My acne marks started lightening even though it will take a little more time for them to completely disappear. The allergic reaction kept getting worse. I kept visiting my doctor, taking me meds but it still kept getting worse.

A powerhouse dark spot serum boosted with a powerful blend of 70% organic green tangerine extract, 4% niacinamide, and 2% arbutin What We Love: This formula’s creamy texture makes application easy and layers beautifully with other products. What We Love: This serum uses potent green tangerine extract to specifically target dark spots and post-acne hyperpigmentation. What We Don’t Love: Weirdly enough, this smells like boiled hot dog water (there’s no added fragrance), but the aroma fades as soon as it’s applied. With an impactful mix of vitamin C, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, and ferulic acid, you’ll be receiving long-lasting moisturization and skin-smoothing nourishment. Keep in mind, because Maelove uses a potent 15% vitamin C active, the brand advises using up your serum within three months of opening (doable, considering it’s not the biggest bottle). The source of vitamin C in the Goodal Vitamin C Serum is organic green tangerine extract, which contains 10x more vitamin C than lemons.

What We Love: At age 63, our tester felt a noticeable difference in her skin’s overall firmness and smoothness after incorporating this product into her routine. What We Don’t Love: Some online reviewers report the formula pilling under other skincare and makeup products, though we did not experience that. Goodal sources Green Tangerine from Jeju Island, where it only grows for 4 weeks in a whole year. Fun Fact: Green Tangerine contains 10 times more Vitamin C than regular tangerines. Ingredients

Price is high if not on sale, not complaining since all Kbeauty products are around the same price range. Now the brand claims this to be an innovative serum that can fade dark spots in two weeks of use. Along with fading away blemishes, this also promises to brighten up dull skin. I would say this is a very optimistic claim from the brand. Why I say this is because I was already on my second serum and was not seeing any vast improvements.
