Battery wise you get a 2200 mAh which offers 14 hours of battery life and Juice is true to their word when testing the speaker I gave it a full charge which took about 2.5 hours and then timed my usage with this speaker and got the 14 hours of battery life they said. I would say yes it’s not very expensive and if you’re looking for a speaker that has a rugged feel that can be used vertically or horizontally and has a decent sound profile for the cost of the speaker. This speaker won’t replace your home audio system but it’s great when you’re down the park or chilling on the beach.

The Juice® BoomPRO Bluetooth ® Speaker has been specially designed to provide an amazing rich powerful sound. I also listen to a regular podcast on the speaker and it worked very well there no dropouts and the vocals come across nice and clear and at times I thought I had a more expensive speaker. The overall design of this speaker is well built and nothing gives you the impression it’s a budget speaker apart from the amount of plastic used in the build.

This speaker is about the same size as a large can of baked beans (89x89x106mm). It’s made of plastic with a plastic rim around the top and the bottom of the speaker that is designed so the speaker will stay where you want it because of the shape of the plastic either end. You then have the middle section of the speaker covered in a mesh covering around the speaker with 4 rubberised buttons on the front.

I have played all the normal songs I play in a review and my opinion about the speaker is it does offer a rich overall sound profile that gives you a low-end base when the sound is about 50%. However, if you play this speaker at up to 60% volume you will enjoy it If you take speaker down the beach or by that inflatable pool we have all bought for the garden in the recent heatwave. It comes IPX5 rated which means it will be able to handle a sustained low-pressure water jet or in normal life, if you happen to bump in the pool and splash the speaker it will be fine. Just don’t drop the speaker in the pool otherwise it’s dead. It has a nice balanced sound without any significant distortions when listening to music. It offered a nice level of bass without feeling overbearing due to the use of the subwoofer. Sound quality for the JuiceBoom Pro offers a beefy bass but the mid-range is slightly off. If the volume at max the sound can be a little muddled and can become a little distorted. The Juiceboom Pro is a cylindrical, ruggedised design that has a fabric material that goes around the whole speaker. On each end of this speaker you have rubber end caps that are shaped to allow you to stand this speaker up.Apart from that if you want a speaker for your staycation on a budget price give the JuiceboomPro a try!
