According to Fr. Fortea, pride can corrupt any gifts we receive from God, turning them toward evil or causing them to be lost altogether. We know from psychiatric settings that people can be extremely strong sometimes, so we would not diagnose possession from strength alone. In the paper, the researchers speculated about a possible link between the incubus phenomenon and sudden unexpected death syndrome, a situation in which a healthy person inexplicably dies in his or her sleep. Prayer, as a direct connection between you and God, is one of the most effective and easily accessed defenses against the Devil’s power. Fr. Fortea tells us that it doesn’t matter whether prayer is spoken aloud or merely mental—it’s still just as powerful. Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

The only thing to do is pray and record everything that is happening to you. Do not go to the authorities. It’s spiritual warfare. In a concrete way, it started in graduate school for adult clinical psychology. I was doing brain-wave research on hypnosis and the brain’s ability to create false experiences. Follow the exorcist’s directions. Don’t speak to the demons, and don’t respond to the demons. Pray.

When ministering to the demonically oppressed, we should use Scripture, both when rebuking the devil and when counseling the person on how to get free from the oppression and stay free.But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. Yes and so much more even turning our hearts so messed up in real filled with evil negative dark forces energies 😔 The Bible tells the story of the world’s creation, humanity’s fall and God’s plan to reconcile the world to Himself through the death and resurrection of Jesus. It goes on to explain the church’s responsibility to go into the whole world and make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20).
