I love how it’s almost written as if both characters are writing the story in some parts, while in others its as if your looking down into their lives. Richard - no doubt named so for being a prize dick - is one of the most selfish parents in the Wilson-verse. Ruby is the one who is elder by 20 minutes and shows dominance in her behaviour but she is highly protective of Garnet. Como pega (bajo mi humilde opinion), el hecho de que sea una traducción fiel a los escenarios y culturas inglesas.

This book was very interesting to read even though i read it in primary i still enjoy the book i think it was a funny and interesting book i had lots of fun reading this and i would recommend to everyone it was a brilliant book i love it. It was a believable storyline that addresses many different subject matters through the twin’s diary entries. Leaving Gran behind, having a new stepmother, moving in with her and of course Garnet going to a new private school! In the end, Ruby apologises to Garnet, and they both realise that they can still be together while apart, as long as they remember each other. At this point in the novel, Garnet is no longer narrating- Ruby has changed the "book" to a Memorandum, which she continues writing in until the end of the book.

Wilson is an expert at creating realistic characters and is probably the closest thing you can get to actual being inside a child's mind yourself. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. If not for that, I probably never would have discovered Jacqueline Wilson - I missed these books when I was young, and they're not the sort of things I would have otherwise stumbled upon as an adult. The two have always been close despite their differences- Ruby is social, and keen to let her opinions be heard, while introverted Garnet is content to let Ruby dominate their relationship. The twins face many difficulties, from changing schools, to stepping out from a siblings shadow, and even dealing with a new step mother.

The 1995 Medal winner, Northern Lights by Philip Pullman, was named one of the top ten by a panel of experts and was voted the public favourite for the 70th anniversary "Carnegie of Carnegies" in 2007.

tapi agak cemas juga dengan penjelasan kenapa ayah mereka sudah tinggal serumah dengan pacarnya padahal belum menikah. Suitable for use by casts with as few as 6 or as many as 30 members, and offering staging opportunities from the simplest to the most sophisticated designs, this script will be eagerly seized upon by English and Drama teachers, youth workers, theatre groups, or even families who'd like to try putting on their own performance at home - and many others. It's a short book and quick to read, so it was the first of the books I got this Christmas, that I decided to read. In 2002 Jacqueline was given an OBE for services to literacy in schools and in 2008 she was appointed a Dame. And once again allow me to salute your subtle genius that still, books and books later, goes almost completely undiscovered.Adaptable for use by casts with a few as 6 or as many as 30 members and offering staging opportunities from the simplest to the most sophisticated designs, this script is ideal for use in drama groups, English lessons and school plays.
