The maximum of 16mm of eye-relief is pretty good and should be enough for most people who wear glasses to be able use these optics without having to remove their glasses and still get the full field of view without any vignetting. Non-eyeglass wearers will just use the eyecups in the fully extended position. Focusing is achieved via the very large (diameter 33mm) center focus knob, which on the sample that I used turned smoothly, but was fairly tight.
