Since discovering LinkedIn, Carol reconnected with many people from her course, including Campbell Rose AM who invited Carol to join the Hoadley Society, which works to help raise Victoria University’s profile in the community.

She has served as a fiduciary in Bankruptcy Court matters and is currently serving as a fiduciary in State court matters. The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged.

She serves as the co-local lead for Mentor Walks in Melbourne, a non-profit organization that pairs senior mentors with emerging leaders for monthly walks and discussions. For the past 15 years Carol has been a lawyer specialising in equality and discrimination law, best known in Scotland for successfully fighting mass equal pay cases for low paid women and playing an active part in the Referendum Campaign.

Based on her popular book “Confident Communication for Leaders” Carol will encourage participants to understand their impact in the workplace and the power of professional communication strategies in being able to influence and engage clients and other team members anytime, anywhere. Through sheer determination and tenacity, Carol obtained treatment in England in the early 1990s and her daughter was born in 1992, following extensive fertility treatment and battles against judgemental attitudes which appear almost vindictive to us 25 years later.
