Some episode summaries are taken from the Verum Weekly summary posts by u/Emanresubmudyllaer on the subreddit r/cadum. Third eww factor: The douchebag who’s a professor sleeps with his students all the time. Seriously?? I think a lot of reasons can be associated to the downfall of this series but one of them is definitely the characters assassination of Oli and her bonds. A pair of widely used terms, related to the Lewis acid-base notation, should also be introduced here.

Since chemical reactions involve the breaking and making of bonds, a consideration of the movement of bonding ( and non-bonding ) valence shell electrons is essential to this understanding. It is now common practice to show the movement of electrons with curved arrows, and a sequence of equations depicting the consequences of such electron shifts is termed a mechanism. In general, two kinds of curved arrows are used in drawing mechanisms: A full head on the arrow indicates the movement or shift of an electron pair:Starting the review with the first three books of the series in my mind and honestly they were absolutely perfect. They were lighthearted, easygoing, plot and character driven with smut so good you'll want more. The fourth and fifth books, although average but still enjoyable especially the way they ended and with the character development for Nox taking the wheel. Oli is a 19 eyar olf girl who has been captured by her gifted community since she has ran away for reasons we don't know yet. Her Bonds have put in all their resources to find her and bring her home only to receive a girl who does everything within her power to keep as much distance as possible between her and her Bonds. Oli is forced to attend Draven University to stay close to her Bonds and I’ve been reading paranormal romance books for years and for the longest time I didn’t get book suggestions from social media. I was doing pretty okay by myself. Lately though, I’ve been listening to these suggestions and I can honestly say that MAYBE one suggestion has led me to a series I enjoyed. The premise of the Bonds that Tie series is really interesting. The execution is the problem. While I’d like to know where the series will go, I won’t continue because:

This final book is a mix of boring, frustrating, and anticlimactic. Oli used to be a great heroine in the first 3 books, but now, her personality is just being a simp for her guys, and Nox most of all. Up to that point it didn't bother me much. In comes the sixth book aka the big finale and I'm so so heartbroken. I loved the series so much and this finale makes the rest of the series look so bad. Of course, I had some experience with death throughout my life, but not on a deep personal level. Meaning, I have seen people die, but I was never close to them. So I can only imagine what it is like to lose someone you love so deeply that you can't imagine living without them. Part of why I feel this may have hit me so hard was that I have been super emotional for the last couple of months because it just happened to be what would have been my 20th wedding anniversary, what would have been my hubby's 40th birthday, and then the one-year anniversary of his death. They say time heals all wounds, which I'm sure is true, but in my mom's grief support group, many people who lost loved ones suddenly/unexpectedly said the second year is worse than the first. I kinda scoffed at that. Now though I've realized the majority of the first year I spent sort of numb. Feeling like it was just surreal and not in denial per se but obtusely ignoring it.It’s hard not to compare this series to Hannaford Pre, even so more because it’s one of my all times favorite series. And I absolutely love that Bree gave us another amazing girls friendship here. Sage’s sassy, gay brother Sawyer was such a great addition to their friend group. I love how Olli created her own group outside her Bonds. It excruciating. A living nightmare. Sitting with four of the five men who are supposed to be drawn to me, to someday love me the most in the world, while they stare at me with utter contempt." Needs to be a lot more worldbuilding. Like, where did Bonds come from? How do you know someone's your Bond? How did the guys know she was their bond from childhood when they'd never met each other before? Nucleophile: An atom, ion or molecule that has an electron pair that may be donated in bonding to an electrophile (or Lewis acid).
